Advertising HUD homes under contract.
My business partner & I recently got a HUD home under contract (our 3rd one). Upon further inspection, the numbers won't work to rehab & flip. There is room for a buy and hold investor with their own funds (we use hard money for most of our deals). I understand that there are restrictions on advertising a HUD home you have under contract, but what are they specifically?
We are totally prepared to walk away & lose escrow if necessary, but would like to try & wholesale it first.
How can we best get the word out to wholesalers about this property? Thanks for any advice/ideas!
