The BEST Sources for FORECLOSURE & PROPERTY DATA INFORMA

I am going to take the liberty here to START an informational thread that I hope will help the group in the quest for accurate FORECLOSURE & PROPERTY DATAinformation.

In most states the DATA is compiled as follows:

NOD- Notice of DEFAULT

NOT- Notice of TRUSTEE SALE

REO- The bank (investor) was high bid at sale and took the house back at trustee sale or auction.

I will FIRST point out that most all the DATA comes from title companies. Almost ALL the title companies get their DATA from a subsidiary of MDA Corp. called "DATA QUICK."

Interesting that MDA also handles military intelligence, communications, Law Enforcement communications, FEMA, NASA and space communication Data and a WHOLE lot more.

Data Quick:

DataQuick is a market-leading provider of real property information. Often the first to bring new products to market, DataQuick has built a reputation for offering high-quality, timely and consistent products.

DataQuick products offer a wide range of information including property history and characteristics, sales and loan information, market valuation, as well as neighbourhood information. DataQuick products are created from county assessor and recorder data for over 83% of the metropolitan population of the United States, combined with various other sources, and provide detailed information on over 80 million properties across the country.

DataQuick is located in San Diego, California. The company's primary customers are local, regional and national businesses and agencies in the real estate transaction, mortgage financing, title insurance and appraisal markets.

FOR TIPS on getting the "DATA" at NO COST see my post below....
