Where does money go in foreclosure auction if bid higher than judgement
Looking at a foreclosure auction today in FLORIDA in which the judgment was 30k, same as plaintiff max bid, and it went to a third party bidder for 85k.
There were no subordinate liens and no one will probably come file one, where does the extra 55k go? Does foreclosing bank keep it? Do they have to try and return it to owner?
