IRS Chapter 7 property
Hi all, I am fairly new to the real estate investment game, and brand new to the BP network. I was wondering if anyone could help me with an interesting question I came upon.
I came across a property nearby that seems to have been vacant for about a year. I looked into it and the real estate company that had listed it said it was in the foreclosure process and no longer on their books. I found the previous owner listed on the tax records and was able to contact him. He said the property was being sold under the CA Government IRS after a Chapter 7 filing.
Does anyone know how to find such a listing? I located the HUD listings online, but it doesn't seem to be among these, is there a particular database for the IRS by any chance? Or is there somewhere I can contact to try to dig up the details on this house?
Any help would be appreciated!
