Finding out Federal Court status on Fannie Mae Property

I am told by the homepath agent that a fannie mae property is continually hung up in federal court concerning title. He does not provide much more detail other than to say it has to do with court clearing title. The property has been in foreclosure for over 3 years now. How can I find out what is happening with a specific property in fed court with the intent of getting a better handle on when it will finally be cleared for sale by the homepath agent?
