REO with $430 Delinquent Sewer Bill

I am in contract to buy a bank owned property with a delinquent sewer bill...the service provider (county) indicated the bill stays with the property. Is this something the bank should clear? Or does it get passed off on me? Thanks

The bank should provide "clear and marketable title" which means free from all liens. So, they should pay it off. This is likely done as part of closing. So, you should see the payment to the sewer company on the HUD-1. Have your agent contact the listing agent and verify the bank is aware of and plans to pay off this lien.
