How to verify property is being sold at sheriff sale?
I know most advertised foreclosures never make it to the sheriff sale. It would be a huge waste of time going to the sheriff auction just to find out the property isnt even being auctioned. Im sure its unavoidable at times since things can happen last minute but whats the industry standard for verifying a property is still on track to be auctioned a day or two before the scheduled date? Can you call the sheriff or lawyer on record to ask?
