Multiple Foreclosure Notices
I live in Collin County, which is a county just north of Dallas, Texas. I am watching several properties - and some of them have appeared multiple times on the county's foreclosure list (i.e., the same house has been posted for foreclosure on April 3, June 5 and July 3). Any idea why that is happening? I thought if there were no bidders, the mortgage company would then buy the property at the foreclosure sale. By the way, all the properties I'm watching appear to be associated with mortgage fraud (owner sells to trust, trust immediately sells to straw buyer who takes out a mortgage $200,000-$250,000 over price the value of the property).
