Home/Land Split City/County Line?

I placed an offer on a foreclosure in Baltimore County, MD. When looking at the tax records, I found a corresponding .26 acres in Baltimore City (which is the back yard of this house). The house and 3000 sqft of land are in the county. The house and its land have been foreclosed upon. The .26 acres out back are not foreclosed on. Looks like that was a cash sale.

I’m not certain, but I believe the owner of both had died and had an outstanding mortgage balance with no estate/beneficiaries. How can I make sure the back yard conveys with the purchase of the house? Who would own this land, if he bought it outright as an additional lot and only financed the house itself? Need some guidance! And funny enough, I had placed an offer on a house in the West part of the city which also split the county line, but it was not a foreclosure and was much more clear (in the purchase documents, the city land was for sale for $1 with the purchase of the county house and it’s land). Thanks in advance!
