"Bidding instructions" for a foreclosure.

Just like the title says, I need to provide “bidding instructions” for a foreclosure auction to my attorney in St Louis County, Missouri. I am the lender in this case. I have no idea what I am stepping into and while I do have an attorney on this, I want to get the BP take on best practices, do’s, and don’ts. And---where can I find recent local foreclosure auction results?  If I have to pay to see recent results, that would be ok. Thanks!
