Recording a Deed after foreclosure

Plam Ang

 Hello,

Recently I bought a property at foreclosure auction in suburbs of Chicago.I'm wondering what are next steps after court approval.

  • Could I on my own record the deed, or I have to use a title company or attorney?
  • Should I check for unpaid taxes or unpaid utility bills?
  • What is the complete list of documents that I have to bring in Cook County record office?
  • When can I take possession of the property?
  • What should I do if in  the property has belongings and furniture of the old owner?

It's my first time to buy a property at auction, so every information would be helpful.

Thank you in advance!!!
