Hi everyone,

My family cattle farm used to be a large apple orchard in the northeastern panhandle of West Virginia (around Romney/Moorefield). It has several buildings that have sat vacant for decades and we really haven’t tried to look for tenants until recently. The main apple packing shed was built in the 60s and is around 35,000 sqft. We understand that due to the seclusion and remote access to this site combined with the relatively little industry growth in this area of WV, leasing will be rather hard. Besides Craigslist, Local Papers… what ideas do you all have to list the property?

I know someone in rural iowa who turned a turkey farm into storage for RVs and boats etc. Not sure if you have the bandwidth to handle that but if you just did storage for seasonal items like that where they would have access to the items for 2 weeks in the spring and need to bring it back at some point in a 2 week span in the fall you could really back that thing full of RVS, Campers, classic cars, etc.
