Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

I come to you today seeking advice, tips, and 2 cents. Thanks to my wonderful property manager and her amazing networking skills, I have an informal meeting with a seasoned investor next week. This gentleman has been in the CRE arena for a good part of his professional investing career and has clearly made it. For those who have been in my situation, you may understand when I say I'm slightly intimidated. I want to make a good impression and at the same time absorb any wisdom that comes my way. What would you be doing between now and then to be sure that you're well prepared to get and give the most in this situation?

I appreciate you all.

Zack

Be a seeker of wisdom. Don’t try to impress just ask good questions and listen. Bring a notepad and take notes. Also it goes without saying but dress appropriately and pick up the tab. Make sure to send a written thank you note a few days later.
