Do any of the larger investors here have shingles drop shipped to there apt buildings
I will be doing a large roofing job on one of my apt buildings and dont want to pay the prices that menards and home depo and lowes charge. shingles have exploded in price over the last 3 to 5 years and I am doing my best to keep my maintenance costs down. a link or a business name or ect would be great. Happy Holidays to all and have a profitable New Year

Barrington Gallahad Those three stores that you mentioned are the last three stores that I would ever buy shingles from. A roofing supply company will have WAY lower prices and better selection.

When I have shingles delivered to a house, they usually charge $25-$50 to deliver the shingles to the roof. This is a bargain. If you've ever carried an 80 pound bundle of shingles up a ladder, you will agree.

My roofer always get a better price than me on materials. He gives me a price for the job, material and labor. I always want a lien waiver signed by him and the supplier. What we always do is subtract the material cost from the bill, I pay that over the phone and have the supplier fax me a lien waiver, then I pay the roofer the difference and he signs a lien waiver. Has worked out good so far.

In my area, I get shingles from Wimsatt, Square Deal, or Allied. Not sure if those businesses are in your area.
