Do Commercial Investors target a larger farm area?

Hi everyone; commercial investment is still a dream for me right now, but I do wonder how commercial investors find deals when inventory is a tiny fraction of residential property. There are hundreds of houses for every shopping center in So Cal.

Do you guys target a larger area, perhaps several metros or even states?
