Average rental yields in Dallas

Hi I'm new to this forum (.... which is awesome may I just say). I'm from Australia (please don't hold that against me) although I was born in the US so I do have a social security number and passport etc. Property in Australia is astronomically high. The good news is our high dollar means a much better investment opportunity (...I humbly think) is in property in the mighty United States.

I've been researching (in a limited way) Dallas as an investment location to focus on. I was wondering what rental yield you would consider acceptable (or worthwhile) from an investment perspective if I was to hold the property for the long term. I will be borrowing with a 50 per cent loan to value ratio hopefully, and I have $150K of cash, so I was thinking of buying 4 properties of approx $75K each once I borrow 50% - which may be difficult with a lender, I'm not sure but I have a job and assets in Australia which hopefully will be taken into account. Thanks in advance :)
