I have started a new property management and would like a little advice.
I'm starting my company in the Cabarrus County, NC area(NE of Charlotte). I have my Broker's License and have worked in Property Management since 1997 (multi family side) but the last two years managing single family rentals for serveral management companies..I see a big need for a company that communitcates to clients in a proactive way. Any advice for a small start up looking to get it's feet on the ground?...is there an inexpensive way to attract potential clients.

Go where the investors are!

Specifically:

- Try networking at your local REIA

- Find some closing attorneys that handle investor clients and see if they'll allow you to put flyers in their office or even recommend you

- Stay active here on BiggerPockets, as we have over 100,000 members, and most of them are active investors

- Start a blog and provide some great content on property management -- this will drive traffic to your site and ultimately to you
