Property deed not changed

Melisa Richmond
Posted

Just found out recently that my husband's ex wife's name is still on the deed to the property that we live on. His divorce decree states that he gets ownership of the property.  The attorney that they went through for the divorce never had the deed changed over.to his name only.  He has 2 grown children and I have an 11 yr from a previous marriage being raised here on the property.  If anything happened to my husband what kind if right would i have?

You're going to have to spend money if you want it done right. $300 is a bargain...
