It all depends on the deal, size and type how much money you need to raise and how many investors you’re going to need. There are a lot of steps in the process to comply with securities laws So you should speak with a securities attorney first to make sure you get all the proper paperwork and documentation in order and understand what those requirements are in cost will be. You could also partner with an experienced investor and learn from them or hire a coach/mentor to help you with the process.
