I'm new to office/retail investing. I would love to hear how some of you that are experienced in retail investing find your tenants. Do you list on craiglist? Do use sites like Loopnet? Do you hire a real estate agent?

It would be great to hear some of your strategies.

LOL! I am tryin to figure that out along with the recipe for Coca Cola,LOL! I guess it all depends on what class of building you are runnin. I run a class B building, so I am willing to take local guys over the large national companies. Loopnet is ok, do you deal with Costar group at all? They call me about every 5 days to ask if we have any changes in occupancy! LOL! Tell me your sq. footage and demographics. I can answer better with more info. Congrats on movin up to office/ retail, there are some steals right now! A 3 year old strip center that was built for 8 mil was just sold for 1.2 mil once they lost their anchor! It was freakin 2 yrs old! Amazing!
