I am new in BP and investing (great to meet you all). I am planning on purchasing a home but using the HELOC process. Anyone used it before? What should I expect? Is it a good idea? Thank you all in advance.

@Aaron Garner yes your credit score would be lowered but chances are if you’re approved for a HELOC to begin with you should have no problem with a refinance.
