Hi BP, I'm your typical washed-up semi-pro baseball player turned spy novelist published by Random House. For eleven years, I've written in a downtown Birmingham office that's pretty awesome. The building was purchased recently, however, by a landlord who introduced a dress code and restrictions on salty language. That, coupled with my interest in investment diversification, has led me close to the purchase of a different building. I'm interested in any thoughts or advice on acquiring, rehabilitating, managing, and marketing commercial office buildings.
