I am a career Operations Professional. My current position is Director of Operations. I do well but I want to get into commercial real Estate. I want to learn the inside of how it all works. Any suggestions on how I can use my background to provide value for someone in the industry here in Colorado in exchange for exposure to the commercial real estate world?

@Hunter Lavigne I love my day job (and I appreciate being able to be approved for a bank financed deal thanks to my day job). However, I wanted to learn more about real estate and investing. I then interned for a developer/investor after work a few nights a week to learn more about the business. Obviously it wasn't paid, but I helped with daily tasks and got to learn the ins and outs of the industry. Because I help with daily tasks that can free up his time, he is also willing to help me. I went to look at a house and my mentor came out to the house with me to help estimate the rehab costs. It's great to have a mentor to turn to.
