I'm a RE investor and thinking about getting my license. I'm also planning on buying apt buildings in the future. If I get my real estate license and become a residential real estate agent can I still work with commercial real estate brokers if I want to buy apartment buildings?

I get clients frequently who are licensed and mainly investors in single family. They do not actively practice hardly at all but just did it for MLS access.

They did that so many years and now want to own commercial but do not have the knowledge in it so they become my client and buy through me.
