commercial designs Older Building
My dad has an older building, good structure, used to be a car garage. There is a lot of square footage, 3 or 4 garage pull ins and a lot of parking.
My thought is to somehow convert the building to storage buildings or office space. As it is now, there are only a couple rentals there that take up a lot of space and when a renter moves out, a huge chunk of the income for the Bldg is lost.
I suppose the first step is to come up with a business plan or design, check with city also. I know that anything other than a simple plan could be a money pit.
If I could find an exceptional plan, like shopping plaza, restaurant etc., I might be able to acquire lending. Any thoughts?
