What makes the location of a unit in a strip mall more desirable?
When purchasing a single unit or building within a larger strip mall, what should one look for as far as location that would make one unit more desirable than another? (Assuming this is for retail purposes.)
For example, is a corner lot in the center of the strip mall more preferable to a middle unit but with frontage to the main street? Is a unit right next to the entrance of the strip mall more desirable than a similar unit nestled in the back but next to the anchor tenant that draws heavy foot traffic?
Thanks for the feedback.
