Albedo roof installation

Hello all! I have felt that my flat roof needs replacement but I don’t want to replace it with the same material. My choice seems to be albedo roofs . I was introduced to albedo roofs by a commercial roofing company that I had consulted. I have been told that albedo roofs prevent a majority of the heat from ever reaching the surface and that they also reduce HVAC cooling costs during the summer months. Does this seem correct ?. Also what could be the estimate cost for installation.
