Property Management Marketing Ideas

Hi All,

I'm looking for ideas as to how to to market our residential/commercial property management services in Minnesota. We've been approached numerous times by companies that claim they'll generate legitimate leads for us for a "minimal" fee, but none seem to pass the smell test as of yet. We're a small, family-owned company in the southern metro, and my bosses are absolutely wonderful at what they do, but are kind of suffering from a lack of marketing. Personally I think it'd be best to focus our energy on building a positive rapport with people as opposed to paying for a service, but they need to stay afloat in the mean time. Where should we direct our energies?
