Help: Lease/Sell Mixed Use Property
My company owns 2 story mixed use property. The first floor is a body shop/used car lot and the second floor is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. We acquired it as a foreclosure and have owned it ever since. Apparently there is a stigma attached to the property as the previous owner had a poor reputation within the community. This alone has made it very difficult for us to create a market for this property. We advertise through our website, craigslist, loopnet, and other various advertising channels. Even when we do find a potential interested individual the stigma seems to find them as well.
What can be done to help repair this properties reputation as we have now owned it for several years?
Any feedback is always appreciated.
