Any Suggestions on Brokers

Hello BP,

I am switching to the commercial real estate investing side and am looking to find brokers in my South Florida area to connect with.

Besides using LoopNet, referrals, and Google Search, what are other ways to find great brokers?

Also when choosing a broker to work with, what are some qualities I should be looking for?

Thank you Everyone in advance.

Replied

Generally speaking in the commerical space buyers tend not to be represented in transactions. Brokers primarily focus on the seller's side. Your goal when talking with brokers should be to demonstrate that you understand the asset classes, have clear and well defined criteria, and are able to close on properties that fit those criteria. Brokers are highly protective of their time and reputation.

I say that because the ways of finding them which you mentioned will work. The key steps come after that!
