Gauging interest for CRE investing group in/by Nacogdoches, TX

Greetings BP!

I am going to strive to start a commercial real estate investing group for building knowledge, sharing of ideas, strategy, and of course networking!

Depending on interest and what works best I am open to hosting zoom or other online video conferencing to achieve our purposes!

I'm a newbie to CRE who has been living what I thought was a financial freedom / FIRE mentality but recently discovered Cash Flow Quadrant. The wool has been pulled from my eyes and I'm looking to get out of the rat race through commercial investing. I hope to welcome all levels of investors and interested to meet and discuss.

Goals for the meeting would include but not be limited to: inviting local CRE professionals to speak about specific topics; rotating topic presentations from members; bringing in other guests via video conferencing.

This will be what we make of it. I'm hoping a group will come together and we can build each other up and challenge each other to grow and learn.

I would welcome any generous experienced CRE professional who is willing to accept the value we can add to their work while we absorb knowledge and wisdom in return.

Please reply with interest or ideas!

If there already is a CRE group around Nacogdoches, I by no means wish to step on toes. It seems like there has not been any recent activity in this area.

Thanks all y'all!

~Michael

Pre-covid I started a Multifamily & CRE investing group. My biggest piece of advice would be to just start it and keep going :)
