Does anyone know of a good website for demographics and or traffic counts? Preferably free, but if you know of a good paid site please let me know.

For close in neighborhood demographics, go to a few of the local Grocery stores and sit in the parking lot Friday night after dark, Saturday morning, and Sunday afternoon.

Look at the people, and how they are dressed, look at their cars and trucks--guess their income level. New Porsche's and BMW's or dirty 20 year old buy here pay here pickup trucks full of dents.

See how full (or overflowing) their shopping carts are. Can't afford much food, or feeding huge families.

See how many have large buys of Alcohol. See how many are smoking in the parking lot. See if the store is comfortable with goods outside on display for sale (to be brought into the store to pay for).

Try to stay long enough to get a good feel for the customer base--because they will probably be reflective of your own if you buy there.

Are you comfortable sitting in the parking lot at night, unarmed, or do you wish Dirty Harry was sitting next you for protection?

Does the store have security outside in the lot, after dark, all day, are they armed, is there more than one of them?

Is there no grocery store in the area because the last one was looted until it went bankrupt and closed?

Things like that.

Just my 2 cents.
