FHA House Hack Split Residency & 203k
I'm interested in doing House Hacking as my first mortgage as a free and clear, off-title homeowner. I have two questions. I cannot vacate my existing home. So my options are doing an FHA rehab loan, paying that off almost immediately and then applying for FHAFTB. Would I be eligible for both or is it one and done? Alternatively, could I just do the FHAFTB and split residency between them for the first year? 52 weeks of residency but not 365 days buying locally.
