Brookhaven-Amesbury, is it a safe area for a family?

My wife and I are new to Canada. We are a first time home buyer.

Can you guys please confirm how is the area Brookhaven-Amesbury? The houses in this area are priced a little less than other areas which is already a flag for me.

I am looking for a safe area without much crime rate. Since I am new to Canada, I am relying on social media people to guide me if Jane and Lawrence are good for a family or not?
