How do I vet hard money lenders??

Hello everyone,

I am gearing up to purchase my first flip (Pierce County, WA) and my question is, how do I vet hard money lenders? I am getting inundated with hard money loan offers and it's overwhelming. Is a local HM lender better? Does anyone have any preferred HM lenders they like? Thank you!

Best bet it to find one that picks up the phone and is easy to work with. Make some calls and feel people out. Have the lender price out a scenario, then compare and contrast.
