The difference between two plots?

Okay, my wife and I are looking to build our first house, and I found these two plots are very close together and of a similar size, but the prize is different by a factor of 7. Can anyone shed some light on maybe why one appears to be so much more undesirable?

250K for 1.7 aces 

1.9m for 2.2 acres

I see that one is on a hill and by an airport, it also appears to have a strange shape. Any other thoughts? And does this appear to be something you could build upon?
