Anyone ever taken money from a Canadian to buy Real Estate?
I have a friend in Canada who is a Canadian citizen. He recently told me he would love to buy US RE with me. Has anyone ever done this. Do you have any tips on the best way to do this. Seems like a bummer to walk away from the offer because of US/Canada issue. I do have a tax attorney I have worked with and will be talking to him for sure.
Would love to hear your thoughts BP. Hopefully this is clear, I am still new at this.
Thanks
