Portfolio Valuation Discount
We are trying to come up with a portfolio valuation for 17 properties. We own a small % (1-7%) in each of the properties which are primarily multifamily properties with 1-3 office buildings in Texas. What would be a valid portfolio discount to apply to the total portfolio given the lack of marketability, illiquid and long-term nature of these holdings and how do you come to that # for a discount?
Thanks!
