New home buyer questions!
Hi everyone, new home buyer like I said. I’ve been trying to find a home in the Central Valley of California for a couple months now and it’s sucked to say the least. I’ve been approved but not quite for the amount I was hoping for and have been struggling with a realtor to find a home. The more into this process I get, the more questions I have that I’ve been struggling to get answered or have been nervous to ask my realtor about due to her being a family friend so I was hoping I could get them answered here:
1. Is it typical to shop around when going through the pre qualification/financing stage to get the rate, the loan type, and the qualification amount that you want to become more competitive in buying a home?
2. Is it typical for a realtor to find you homes to look at and then set up open houses on the ones you like in a prompt manner?
3. Is it a realty/home buying pho paw to meet with more than one realtor to kinda compare their work and have them both supposably looking for a home for you?
If anyone can help me by answering I would appreciate it IMMENSELY!! Thank you!
