Basement wall bowing
I'm looking at a house that has a slightly bowed wall due to water pressing in on it from the hillside behind it. Banks won't touch the house because of this issue. If I dig a French drain and fix the wall myself, what would it take for a bank to be able to loan on a house that has had structural things corrected on it? Does it all just depend on what the inspection report comes out as? Thanks for any help that you all can give.
