Asbestos Popcorn Ceiling

I'm in escrow on a hotel condo that I will see for the first time next week. The condo docs say the building may have asbestos popcorn ceilings in rooms and in common areas.  It's a 1968 concrete building so this makes sense.  I will have a professional meet me at the inspection next week to 1) confirm asbestos and 2) give me a quote for removal and repainting the ceiling.

My question is do any of you have experience asking for a credit from the seller to pay for the removal of the popcorn ceiling/repainting the ceiling?  I expect the cost to be around $3-4K for complete job.  Would a credit request be too petty here??  Thanks in advance!
