Fort Myers and Cape Coral Development

Hi BP Members,

I've been diving into the Fort Myers/Cape Coral markets recently as I'll be moving there soon and am looking to buy a Res. Multi-Family to house hack. I've found a ton of new building and construction for comm. multi-family in both areas based on the city planning maps and wanted to see what people's thoughts were on how this would affect residential property in the area? 

Seems like a great indicator of growth but am not sure how it connects to the macro picture. Any thoughts on what may happen the next few years with all of this new supply in the pipeline? Do you think there is enough growing demand to keep prices rising? Any thoughts are appreciated!
