Off Market Property Info

Connor Dabell
Posted

Hello! I am looking to pursue off market deals and use the BRRRR strategy. Just a few questions:

1. Is there a way to find out off market property info for free? For example, I am wanting to know the year built, square footage, recent sales, etc.

2. Does the info detailing the property include if it’s a duplex or triplex? I know you can usually see this by how many mailboxes or meters are on the outside of the property, but I’m just wondering if you can see the info online or in a city office.

I’m looking to invest in Iowa. Thanks a bunch!

Check out the local county assessors website. Not sure about Iowa, but in many states you can access all the public records for free. This takes a little legwork, but can be easily accomplished no more than your time spent.
