Financing options for foreigners

Gilles D.
Posted

Hi there,I am curious to what other financing methods are out there for foreign nationals in the US?

So far it seems like you can only get an ITIN loan, where the rates aren't very great...

Is there a way to bypass this, in order to get a conventional loan - like invest a certain amount through an LLC for your Real Estate investments?

Also side question: when you've had a mortgage in the US, for several years, and although you only have an ITIN number(Not a SSN) - aren't you supposed to have built some credit? Or does it not work like this for foreign nationals, and they are not able to actually build credit?

Thank you!
