No credit history after paying off home

Anna Bee
Posted

We paid off our home in August of 2020 and this year we decided to get pre-approved in order to look for an investment property. The loan consultant told us he wasn't able to pull credit history for my husband because we don't owe anything. Any advices on how what to do in this situation?

Thank you!
