Are you familiar with Listservice.com or related services? If so, you may be wondering how to find phone numbers to contact off-market listings (a.k.a. Pocket listings). Perhaps you pay a subscription to a skip-trace company to locate residential phone numbers…

Whatever the case may be, chances are you may be able to find residential phone numbers using: Truepeopleservice.com . Looking up general info such as phone numbers is a free, but you must pay for additional information. Enter your name to see how easy it is to find your number and/or address. It might be efficient to look-up people you already have phone numbers to just as a control.

In my experience with using this service, as long as you know the owner’s name and mailing address, this service can provide you with linked phone numbers. Sometimes there will be more than one number to dial, and some of the these digits are valid. There are some instances where no numbers populate, but this is the exception. You can use this service to locate residential numbers across the country which is useful for absentee-owners or if you are looking to invest in a different state.

If you don’t have the name or mailing address information, contact the county in which the property is located. Then use this info to search for any linked phone numbers.

List other free services you have found to help you in your REI career. So others can benefit.
