Title Insurance Companies Operating in Dominican Republic?

Kenny Castro
Posted

I would like to buy a property in las Terrenas, Samaná and I want to put a title insurance on it to mitigate any potential risk afterwards.

Please inform of any international or local Title Insurance company that operates in DR. Thank you in advance.

FATCO insures there you can call my rep George Sines in Orange County for a TO name reference.      Land Registry Law (provided by the DR government and in spanish)  does not cover you.  Be VERY cautious transferring funds. No company changes bank account to wire to- get it from the source on the phone and double check another method. Wire fraud happens.
