Rochester Michigan - Selling our Investment Prop

Ryan Olivieri
Posted

Hello All,

I wanted to ask the group if anyone knows if there are any tax incentives (similar to the 1031) if you take all of your gains on an investment property sale and put it directly into paying down/off another investment property/second home that you already own. I'm assuming there are not but wanted to check.

Note: I will be putting the property up for sale by owner soon and have a rental agreement in place for the next three years.

Thank you in advance!
