Any recommendations for new home builders in Ocala,fl ?

Hello there,

I was working with turn key company to buy a build to rent single family properties in Ocala,fl. There were some MLS listing on new properties which was less expensive and in better areas than what turn key offers. One of my friends was saying I could get a better deal directly working with builders. I would like to explore this option as well. I have a couple of questions related to it and appreciate any feedback .

1. Is it true that I can get a better deal working with a builder directly?

2. Any suggestions or recommendations how I can find the builders who accept direct buyer?

(Found few by just googling, is there a better way?)

3. any risks working with a builder directly ?
