Investing out of state

Hey BP,

This is my first post out to the forum, I am a beginner multi family landlord/ investor who is looking to buy out of the state I am currently living in (New York) and my question is what are the best ways to invest out of state? What are the best management strategies used to invest out of state? Things to look out for when investing out of state? Anything helps/ books that i should read and or articles and thank you in advance
